These pictures shown above were suspensions of cardiomyocytes under a light microscope, isolated  from 2 month old mouse, weighed   26.3g. Langendorf perfusion was carried out at 37 C without oxygen equilibration. Mouse cardiomyocytes can be cultured for at least one week.

  • Cell yield: 1- 2 x 106 cardiomyocytes / adult mouse heart

  • Time: 45 min

  • Key: Cannulate the aorta to the apparatus of perfusion  system.
