A high quality and intact RNA preparation is available from Cellutron. RNA-iSol is designed to efficiently extract undegraded total RNA from mamaliam tissues and cultured cells. The entire process is about one hour and can be performed in ambient environment condition ( about 25C ).

The ratio of 260/280 is 1.9 ~ 2.0

Total RNA (10 ug per lane)

 

Gel Electrophoresis displays no RNA degradation.

 

Northern blot      

 

 

 

Total RNA was analyzed by Northern blot, in which the RNA on the nylon memberane, after being transfered from agarose gel, was hybridized with PAI-1 cDNA probe, which recoginized two PAI-1 mRNA transcripts: 3.2 kb and 2.2 kb.
